This year was my happiest year celebrating CNY. Went back on the reunion night and had a reunion dinner with my grandmother(father side) at Renaissance Hotel. Obviously, my uncle won't let go his VX and digital camera to film down the memorable night. It has been ages since the last time we had reunion dinner together as a nucleus family. At night, my family and I countdown for CNY. My dad lighted up his 5 feet fire crackers. Heard from my mum, we are allow to light up the fireworks but it is illegal to sell. Haha..whyleh? haha..
Went to church on the first day of CNY. Ask for forgiveness from God and blessings for my remaining months in NUS. Uncle and grandma (mum's side) came to our house for lunch. Mum's cook was damn delicious. Yum yum.. In the noon, we went to Poh poh's house a.k.a Lee's Casino. I gambled too but hmm .. make a loss of 50 bucks.
Second day, we had dinner at uncle's restaurant. It was my wai poh's birthday. It has been ages too since the last time we celebrate with her. That's why I was super happy this year. But sad to say, I am now back to Singapore. No more CNY for me. Why happiness happen for such a short time for me?
