A tiring week but enjoyable
It has been quite some time I did not update my blog. Quite in the mood now while watching Star Search to update what has been happening to me in this whole week. Well, I had just finished my IT1004 presentation on Google. Sigh, I really would like to thank my group mates (Dina and Hui Min). They really had done a lot for the presentation. Thank you girls. Felt quite bad because I did not contribute much in the analysis. I went for Temasek Hall’s night cycling on Friday 26102007. I went with my tech crew members and a few other Temasekians who were there to fill up the group. We set off at about 2230 if I remembered correctly. First stop was Bukit Timah hawker center. That place reminded me how I rushed to Courts from Toa Payoh just to queue up for some electronic gadget which I had forgotten because I ended up did not buying it as they gave privileges to members of Courts when I was not one of them. One unpleasant incident took place when Kelly fainted not even half way through. I felt quite sad for her because she could not join the fun with us and need to be carried back to TH. We continued our journey to Mc Ritchie (hope I spelled correctly), which is a reservoir. We reached at 0230. There was nothing much at that stopover except a few of us went to pee. (Ha-ha) We stayed there for 30 minutes before heading to Newton circus. At there, we had another round of eating but I just drank a cup of sugarcane. I was then busied myself taking photos with my friends. Then all the way to ECP. We reached Bedok Jetty at 0645 . All of us were hoping to see the sun rised but our wish were not realized because of the cloudy weather. It was really tiring throughout the night because I had to cycle up and down the slope of the road. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this journey although is my second time because I had learnt what determination is and perseverance when I still managed to continued the journey when I was almost “Chui” and also the different people I went with. We took group photos and had a sponsored McD burger for breakfast. I could recalled back significant event from all the places that I passed by. It reminded me how I spent my days in Singapore before I entered university. It is the last year I am staying in TH. I will try my best to participate in all TH events because I will never have this anymore when I left NUS. Hmmm… thinking of that, I will really missed many people by then. I will missed all the people whom I had worked with and of course all my buddies from various blocks. Never mind, Singapore is so small; I will keep in touch with them. Alright, is time to continue my study. Here are some of the photos I took. I will update again when I get some more from Photocomm.
