I think I am very selfish. When I am bored or have no sense of direction, I will talk to God. But when I am happy and normal,I will not bother him. Oh dear lord, please forgive for I have sinned to you. Good morning God, I hope you hear me.
Our father, who are in heaven, Holy be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sins against us, do not bring us to the test, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
God, please bless my day today. Guardian Angel, please be by my side to guide me. Whisper to me with your voice. Amen

No... you are not selfish. Perhaps God prefers us to pray with our hearts when we truly need him to be with us or sincerely wish to thank him for his blessings rather than praying everyday just for the sake of praying.
